Art For Everyone program returns

NEW PALESTINE — New Palestine High School’s Community Education Program is accepting registration for “Art for Everyone,” a class designed for beginners or those with some art experience.

The class will offer people the chance to explore various areas of art, including drawing, painting, ceramics, calligraphy and emergent forms of art.

It will be led by longtime Southern Hancock Community School Corp. art teacher Clyde Gaw. Gaw is an art instructor at New Palestine High School, and also an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

“Art for Everyone” will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays for six weeks beginning Wednesday, Jan. 31.

The class will meet at New Palestine High School in Room 1214. Cost of the class is $70.

Preregistration is required, and enrollment will be limited to the first 15 students to register. Payment will be due the first night of the class.
