To the editor:
I was fortunate to have grown up in Greenfield in the 1950s and ’60s and visited regularly through the early 1980s.
Having John and Betty Smith as neighbors and watching them raise their kids made living in Greenfield even more special.
Dr. Smith’s statement, “I claim service to God, duty, family and medicine” is a perfect fit for a wonderful man.
