GREENFIELD
Cecil R. Hamm, 79, of Mt. Comfort, passed away January 4, 2018 at Community Hospital North. He was born June 13, 1938 in Elizabethtown, KY to Dillard and Clara (Hall) Hamm.
Cecil retired from Ford Motor Company in 1998 after 30 years’ service. He was a member of the Christian faith, enjoyed woodworking, sports and collected baseball memorabilia.
Cecil is survived by wife Judy (Beckley) Hamm, whom he married January 9, 1959; son: Cecil R. (Millie) Hamm II of McCordsville; daughter: Debrar (Bob) Bowles of Mt. Comfort; grandchildren: Cecil R. (Dallas) Hamm III, Ginger Jones, Christy Jones, Michael (Carol) Bowles, Bobbie (Brie) Bowles and Jesse (Troy) Paulsen; great grandchildren: Anthony (Courtney) Burnett, Blake and Colton Hamm, Kaylee, Aiden, Kadence, Jaxson, and Hudson Bowles, Elena and Carter Paulsen and Lily; great-great granddaughter Paxton Burnett; brother Ray (Sue) Hamm of Fortville; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Cecil’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
