KidsPlay to audition for spring show

GREENFIELD — KidsPlay Inc. children’s theatre will hold auditions for third- through eighth-graders for its spring production of “Fractured” from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, for returning KidsPlayers and from 6 to 9 p.m. January 10 for new auditioners. New auditioners should come prepared with an audition monologue of one minute or less. Auditions will be held at the KidsPlay Dungeon on the lower level of the Memorial Building at 98 E. North St. Rehearsals for the production will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Performance dates are April 20, 21 and 22. Learn the art of woodburning at center

GREENFIELD — A class on the art of pyrography — or woodburning — will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Creative Arts and Event Center, 2 W.
