INDIANAPOLIS
William W. (Bill) Schwartz, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Reading, PA to the late Paul and Katherine Schwartz.
He married Helen on Christmas Eve 1949 and just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Bill retired from Chrysler Corporation (Shadeland Plant) after 33 years. He loved working as a handyman for his family, friends and neighbors. He and Helen enjoyed traveling after his retirement.
Surviving is his loving wife Helen Schwartz; children, William “Bill” (Mary Anne), Steve (Mary) and Rick Schwartz and Cheryl (Michael) Brady; 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 3rd, from 4-7 pm, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, with funeral services starting at 7 pm that same evening.
