KNIGHTSTOWN
Anita G. Williams, 62, of Knightstown, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital following a seven-year battle with a brain tumor. She was born January 10, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Billy J. and Freda (Scarbro) Brock.
A 1973 graduate of Greenfield High School, she had worked at First National Bank in Knightstown. She was the Human Resources Director at The Paddock in Knightstown for several years, and then was bookkeeper for Evergreen Investment Company. She has been the Worthy Advisor for the Rainbow Girls. She was a member of the Knightstown United Methodist Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Ron Williams of Knightstown; her mother, Freda Brock of Knightstown; a son, Ryan (Ashley) Porter of Fishers; a daughter, Rayann (Mikel) Knepley of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Regan, Max, Beckett, and Hayes Porter, Alijah and Christian Forbes; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy J. Brock.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Curt Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
