WILKINSON
Michael “Mike” R. Beane, 61, of Wilkinson, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana to Frank and Millie (Taylor) Beane.
Mike was a 1975 graduate of Knightstown High School. He worked as a finish carpenter for many years and the last 5 years with Formica Corporation in Mt. Comfort. Mike especially loved hunting, fishing and anything else outdoors and was also an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
Survivors include his wife, Mariann Beane; mother, Millie Beane of Henning, TN; aunt, Lenora Rodriguez of Anderson; uncle, Elmer Green of Henning, TN; mother-in-law, Pat Sipes of Knightstown; sister-in-law, Kathy (Steve) Ferrell of Greensboro; brother-in-law, Dan (Donna) Sipes of Charlottesville; nieces, Stephanie (Ben) Madison and Amber (Nick) Sweet; nephew, Josh (Sandy) Sipes; five great nephews; three great nieces; one great-great nephew and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Oma Taylor; aunts, Rena Rosing, Francis Green; uncle, Jay Taylor; father-in-law, Leroy “Speck” Sipes.
Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Curt Hunt officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Glen Cove Cemetery.
