Oladipo Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 8, the NBA announced Monday.

Oladipo led the Pacers to a 4-0 record from Dec. 4-10, and averaged 30.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He shot 51.2 percent from the field and 51.4 percent from three-point range over the Pacers’ four wins.

The award marks Oladipo’s second Player of the Week this season (Week 2). He joins Houston’s James Harden (three times) as the only players in the NBA this season to earn Player of the Week honors more than once.

Oladipo shares honors with Golden State’s Kevin Durant, who was named Western Conference Player of the Week.
