Joseph A. “Rusty” Fecek, Jr., 73, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 8, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, PA as the son of Joseph A. and Mayona (Pike) Fecek.

Joseph received his bachelors in engineering from GM Institute. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Rusty married Debra L. (Lines) on December 28, 2002 in Brownsville, PA.

He was self-employed as an auto body technician for many years. Rusty was a member of the NRA, Evangelist Church of Christ and several motorcycle clubs. He enjoyed being an artist and roller and dance skating. He also enjoyed motorcycles and corvettes. He was very passionate and loved the Lord.

Rusty is survived by his wife, Debra Fecek of Greenfield; step-son, Matthew Lopez of Greenfield; siblings, Rick (Monica) Fecek, Ron (Caroline) Fecek, Ronna “Cissy” (Dana) Shaneyfelt, David Fecek, Danny (Rose) Fecek, Danna “Dimples” (Stubbs) Krukowsky and Jack (Kim) Fecek; and granddaughter, Haley Lopez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mayona Fecek.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 5:00 p.m. Military rites will be presented by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
