Terry Jo (Criss) Farrer, age 64, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 7, 1953 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Richard Criss and Janet (Kruge) Basler.
She graduated from TC Howe High School in 1971. Terry received her Business Degree from Indiana Central University in 1984. She married Michael Anthony Farrer on April 23, 2006 in Las Vegas.
She worked for Mays Chemical Company as an accounting manager for 33 years before retiring in 2015. In 2009, Terry became the owner of Hawks Tail Golf Course in Greenfield. She loved golf, sports, travel, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Farrer; sons, John (Christine) Conner and Zachary Farrer; daughters, Stephanie (Ron) Rogers and Addison Farrer; sister, Kimberly (Jerry) Schill; step-father, Paul E. Basler; 4 grandchildren, Paige (Nigel) Fox, Julian Davidson, Dylan Conner, and Dalton Conner; and great-grandchild, Paisley Fox. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Criss and Janet Basler; and brother, Michael Criss.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. also at the mortuary. Pastor Danny Curry will be officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date at New Palestine Cemetery.
