HANCOCK COUNTY — A Hoosier service sorority is accepting scholarships applications.
Those enrolled in an accredited college offering a baccalaureate or graduate degree are eligible to apply for the following three scholarships from Tri Kappa for the 2018-19 school year: a general academic scholarship; a scholarship for those studying fine arts, dance, drama, art or music; and a scholarship for those studying music teaching.
Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and enrolled full-time during the 2018-19 school year. Two letters of recommendation from professors in the applicant’s major area, a transcript and a 300-word goal statement should be included with the application, which should be postmarked no later than Jan. 15.
Students who have had an interruption of at least five years in their studies but are currently enrolled in an accredited college offering a baccalaureate or graduate degree are eligible to apply for a Key Scholarship.
