GREENFIELD — Children in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to enjoy the Thanksgiving tradition movie, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. GREENFIELD — Support library programs by attending the Friends of the Library Book Sale this weekend at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. The sale is open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 3:45 p.m. Monday is bargain day when a plastic grocery bag of books goes for $2 and a paper grocery bag of books sells for $3. The sale includes hardback and paperback books, video games, DVDs and CDs.

INDIANAPOLIS — Downtown Indy Inc. and IBEW No. 483 present the 55th annual Circle of Lights from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 24. Entertainment for the yearly holiday light display includes singer Sandi Patty and the winners of the statewide video auditions. The 26 toy soldiers and peppermint sticks surround the monument which is decorated with all new lights using LED bulbs for the first time. This free event typically draws more than 100,000 spectators. The lights will come on at 7:55 p.m. when the winner of the Carson’s Department Store coloring contest flips the switch. INDIANAPOLIS — Jurassic Quest, advertised as the largest collection of animatronic dinosaurs in North America, visits the West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St. Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors can interact with and learn about more than 80 life-size dinosaurs including the T-Rex and triceratops. Activities include a fossil dig, dinosaur-themed inflatable mazes and bounce houses, face-painting and crafts. Ticket prices range from $18 to $34. For more information, visit jurassicquest.com.
