GREENFIELD
Danielle J. (Madsen) Cory, 48, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 10, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital.
She was born on February 4, 1969 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Terrance and Beverly (Zumbaum) Madsen. She graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1986. She married Mickey W. Cory on September 20, 1997 in New Palestine.
She worked as an inventory auditor for Sam’s Club stores on East Washington and in Fishers for 30 years. Danielle loved her kids, husband, family, and her dog Ziggy. She also adored elephants and was a big Minnesota Vikings fan.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey W. Cory; children, Justin M. Cory and Haley E. Cory of Greenfield; brother, Christopher M. Madsen of Greenfield; sister, Kimberly D. Kinder of Greenfield; and nieces and nephew, Amber and Jeffery Kinder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Terrance and Beverly Madsen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also at the mortuary. Mark Palmer will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East in Indianapolis.
