‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’

FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon High School presents “Thoroughly Modern Millie!” at 7 p.m. Nov. 16, 17 and 18 and 2 p.m. Nov. 19 at Mt. Vernon High School, 8112 N. County Road 200W. The musical, set in the flapper era of the 1920s, tells the story of small-town girl, Millie Dillmount, who arrives in New York City determined to marry for money instead of love, but problems arise when she checks into a hotel. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and can be purchased online at mvhs.booktix.com or at the box office on hour before the show.

‘Chronicles of Yarnia’

LAWRENCE — Q-Artistry presents “The Chronicles of Yarnia,” a rap musical, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at Theater at the Fort, 8920 Otis Ave. “The Chronicles of Yarnia” is a musical parody of the classic tale by C.S. ‘The Originalist’

INDIANAPOLIS — Supreme Court Justice and conservative icon Antonin Scalia, portrayed by Henry Woronicz (pictured), hires a young, liberal, female law intern, and opinions start flying right and left in “The Originalist,” running through Nov. 12 at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, 140 W. ‘Ghost, the Musical’

INDIANAPOLIS —“Ghost, the Musical,” adapted from the hit film, follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose bright future takes a shocking turn after Sam’s untimely death.
