‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’
FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon High School presents “Thoroughly Modern Millie!” at 7 p.m. Nov. 16, 17 and 18 and 2 p.m. Nov. 19 at Mt. Vernon High School, 8112 N. County Road 200W. The musical, set in the flapper era of the 1920s, tells the story of small-town girl, Millie Dillmount, who arrives in New York City determined to marry for money instead of love, but problems arise when she checks into a hotel. ‘Chronicles of Yarnia’
LAWRENCE — Q-Artistry presents “The Chronicles of Yarnia,” a rap musical, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at Theater at the Fort, 8920 Otis Ave. “The Chronicles of Yarnia” is a musical parody of the classic tale by C.S. ‘The Originalist’
