GREENFIELD
Carole L. (Wierman) Curry, 77, of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1940 in Tuscola, IL as the daughter of Cedric D. and Anita B. (Wilkison) Wierman.
She graduated from Warren Central High School in 1957. Carole married Melvin W. Curry on July 12, 1958 in Indianapolis.
She was a homemaker and adored spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. Carole was a very loyal friend and loved Elvis Presley. She loved to read, especially autobiographies.
Carole is survived by her husband, Melvin “Slim” Curry of Greenfield; daughters, Robin (Randy) Adams of Fairfield, OH, Lynne (Tracy) Riley of Greenfield and Tricia Curry of Greenfield; sister, Jeanne (Don) Kidwell of Indianapolis; uncle, Jim Wierman of Atwood, IL; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cedric and Anita Wierman.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A celebration of life will take place following the gathering at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Dave Wise will be officiating.
