Robert “Rob” Adams, 33, of Fishers and formerly of Wilkinson passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was born October 15, 1984 in Indianapolis to Ronald and Janice (Fickle) Adams.

Rob was a 2003 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School and a 2008 graduate of Ball State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. Rob was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was currently employed at eShipping as an account manager.

Rob especially loved his two little boys, Tyler and Tanner. He would do anything for his family and was their super hero. He could brighten a room with his contagious smile. Rob loved the beach, ocean, every kind of sport, Indy Car Racing, and grilling. Rob was a walking sports encyclopedia and loved any type of sports trivia. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts, North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida Gators.

Rob is survived by his wife, Lindsey Koontz Adams; sons, Tyler Keith Adams (age 3) and Tanner Koontz Adams (age 7 weeks). Also surviving are his parents, Ronald and Janice Adams; brothers, Ronald Adams Jr., John (Tuesday) Adams; grandmother, Marilyn Adams; nieces, Savana, Jovilyn, Cathryn, Olivia, Adrianna; aunts and uncles, Rebecca (Gabriel) Fresquez, Tom Fickle, Bob (Lee) Fickle, Mary (Marty) Beck, Patty Fredenburgh; several cousins; father and mother in law, Tom and Cindy Koontz; brothers in law, Lance (Adrienne) Koontz, Scott (Emily) Koontz, Brian (Nikki) Koontz, Terry (Annie) Koontz; nieces and nephews, Travis, Madysen, Karlee, Kloee, Fayth, Robby, Amelia, Brenna, Jacie and Livi.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Adams, and John and Fredia Fickle.

A celebration of life service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at New Testament Church of Christ, 752 W. Main Street, Hagerstown, IN 47346. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Military honors will be conducted by contingents from the Hagerstown American Legion and U.S. Army.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler and Tanner Adams Scholarship Fund, co Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362.
