Pencils up: Library issues writing challenge for students

GREENFIELD — National Novel Writing Month, known as NaNoWriMo, takes place during November. Participants set a goal of writing an entire novel over the month-long project.

The Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, offers a workshop for students in Grades 3 through 12 interested in participating in NaNoWriMo.

Young writers are welcome to meet in the library’s computer lab from 4 to 5 p.m. each Wednesday evening for camaraderie and writing assistance.
