MUNCIE
Sherry S. (McPeak) Coker, 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on April 25, 1951 in Indianapolis to John and Ruby (Eck) Fishburn.
Sherry was a graduate of Morristown High School-Class of 1970. She enjoyed quilting and was a gifted oil painter and an avid reader. However, the time she spent with family gave her the greatest enjoyment.
Survivors include her two daughters, Tina Coker and Heather Conner of Muncie; son, Chris Coker of Muncie; grandchildren, Kurri White, Taylor Monty, Brenna Monty and Jessica Monty; great-grandchildren, Teagen Miller and Carson Miller; her former husband, Stephen Coker; and sisters, Sondra (Jeff) Falkenberg of Summitville, Tammy (Mark) Cox of Greencastle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-Kay Thomas.
Cremation has been chosen and services will be announced by the family at a later date.
