GREENFIELD
Sherrill Wayne Hutton, 77 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on September 6, 1940 in Oolitic, IN to the late Millard and Olive (Livingston) Hutton.
Sherrill graduated from Oolitic High School and served in the United States Air Force. He married Nancy (Kinslow) Hutton on August 11, 1962. He spent his career as a Quality Engineer for Chrysler Automotive for 30 years until retiring in 1990. He enjoyed woodworking, making lawn furniture and building anything Nancy wanted.
Surviving Sherrill is his wife, Nancy Hutton of Greenfield; son, Scott (Angie) Hutton of Mountain View, CA and granddaughter Isla.
Preceding Sherrill in death are his parents mentioned above; and brothers, Bill Hutton and Vernon “Bus” Hutton.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am, Monday, October 30 at Cresthaven Memory Garden, 3522 Dixie Highway, Bedford, Indiana.
