INDIANAPOLIS, IN
Jeanne (Malone) Kirkwood, 93, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on October 15, 2017. Jeanne was born October 3, 1924, in Beech Grove, IN, to William (Bill) Malone and DeLight (Marine) Malone.
She graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1942. She attended the former Lane Business College for two years as well as Professional Floral Designer School for two years and enjoyed making crafts for many shows. She was employed at Jefferson National Life Insurance Company where she retired from in 1990. Jeanne was a volunteer at Community Hospital for fifteen years, a member of Greenfield Christian Church and Naomi Circle.
She is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Schuster of Tuscon, AZ, and Debbie Haviland of Indianapolis, IN; her much loved sister, Dixie Rode; good friend, Betty Ponich; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Kirkwood, who passed away in 2010 from cancer.
Memorial service will be held for Jeanne on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 12:00 PM at the Greenfield Christian Church -23 N East St, Greenfield, IN 46140 with visitation from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM prior to service. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
