GREENFIELD
Gordon Harmon, 70 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 21, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Gordon Sr. and Florence (Gonzalez) Harmon.
Gordon was a machinist at Amtrak until he retired in 1991. He was a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School. Gordon loved motorcycles and was a classic car enthusiast. His “labor of love” was restoring their Victorian style home with fiancee Bonnie.
He is survived by his fiancee, Bonnie Piatt; 2 daughters, Julie (Tina) Harmon of Greenfield, Lisa (Randy) Harmon of Leehigh Acres, Fl.; brothers, Ted (Vivian) Harmon, Joe Harmon and Jack (Linda) Harmon all of Greenfield; sisters, Mary Harmon, Cheryl Croke, Becky Harmon, Laura Harmon.
Gordon is preceded in death by both his father and mother and brother Rusty Harmon.
Friends may call 4-8 pm, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral will be 10 am, Tuesday, October 17 at the funeral home with Father Aaron Jenkins and Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery.
