GREENFIELD — Indianapolis Archbishop Charles C. Thompson visited
St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield on Sept. 29, during Michaelmas. The annual
celebration honors the parish’s patron saint, St. Michael the Archangel.
Thompson celebrated Mass and stayed for a dinner that followed. About 350 people
attended, organizers said. A raffle with a prize of $10,000 and a silent auction also took place.
