GREENFIELD
Mildred L. Boyd, 90 of Greenfield passed away September 15, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born March 28, 1927 in Greenfield to the late Edwin K. and Mary J. Boyd.
Mildred was a graduate of Martinsville High School and retired in 1980 after 34 years as a telephone operator for South Central Bell Telephone Company where she was awarded the AT&T Pioneer Lifetime membership.
Mildred loved her pets, Lacy, Butterscotch and Mr. Abby. She enjoyed walking (fast), garage sales, thrift store shopping and Powdered Bavarian donuts from the Sweet Shop.
Mildred is survived by special cousins; Betty (Hall) Hendricks, Mary Lou Burton, Ron (Susan) Lane, several other cousins and special caregiver, Deena Hendricks.
She is preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Don Lane.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery.
