Schools to collect for hurricane relief

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield-Central School Corp. and the Greenfield-Central High School Interact Club are joining forces with the Hancock County Fraternal Order of Police and Midwest Food Bank to collect items and monetary donations for hurricane relief.

Friday, donations will be accepted at the Greenfield-Central football game to help the victims of the hurricane disasters in Florida and Texas.

Monetary donations in the form of checks should be made payable to Greenfield-Central High School with Hurricane Relief Fund on the memo line and sent to Greenfield-Central High School, Attn: ConnieJo Harris, 810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield, IN 46140

Donations accepted include: bottled water, baby wipes, formula, diapers, baby shampoo, body wash, baby lotion, pet food, canned goods and mosquito repellent. No glass bottles will be accepted.
