GREENFIELD — Art lovers can learn one-stroke painting during two Monday classes at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

Artist Marilyn Tentler will teach a technique — popularized by Donna Dewberry on her public television show — to achieve shading and highlighting in a single stroke. In the first session, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees will paint fall pumpkins on canvas. In the second session, from 6 to 8 p.m., a snowman and an evergreen will be painted. Each session, which includes all supplies, has a fee of $25 payable at the beginning of class.

Identical classes repeat on September 30, with the snowman at 10 am. and the pumpkins at 2 p.m.
