GREENFIELD
Geneva J. (Sapp) Satterfield, 86 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Indianapolis. She was born August 3, 1931 in Greenfield to the late George E. and Gladys (Welter) Sapp.
Geneva worked as a civilian Management Analyst for Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Lawrence until her retirement in 1996. She was a 1949 graduate of Howe High School in Indianapolis. Geneva was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as, the VFW auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, James L. (Sandra) Satterfield II of Shirley; daughter Theresa R. Haley of Greenfield; brother David (Marcia) Sapp of New Palestine and sister Marilynn (Charles) Clement of San Diego, CA; 6 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.
Geneva is preceded in death by both her father and mother, brother Richard and sister Virginia.
Friends may call 10-11 am, Monday, September 18, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral will be 11 am, Monday, September 18 at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery.
