CARMEL
Marvin E. Beeson, 70, of Carmel, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was born on April 17, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN as the son of Howard and Violet (Leary) Beeson.
He graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1965 and graduated from Elkhart University as Dental Technician in 1967. Marvin married Margaret “Margi” (Fisher) Beeson on November 26, 1966.
He owned Cameo Dental Creations for 28 years before retiring in 2013. Marvin was a member of Park Chapel since 1986. He was a member of the Christman Bible Study Group there, as well as an employee for senior services. Marvin enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Margi Beeson; children, Brian Beeson of Greenfield, Scott (Gisele) Beeson of Virginia; and Mila (Mike) Van Noy of Carmel; sisters, Beverly Walters and Linda Spaulding, both of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Violet Beeson; son, Eric M. Beeson, and grandson, Todd Beeson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
