INDIANAPOLIS — The Salvation Army will host a disaster preparedness training session in Indianapolis in hopes of readying volunteers to send to disaster sites.
State organizers will host a disaster services training session from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services Center, 4020 Georgetown Road, Indianapolis.
Those who participate will learn the skills necessary to immediately deploy across the country in the aftermath of a tragic storm.
The fee to attended is $20, which covers the cost of all class materials. Snack breaks and lunch will be provided.
