GREENFIELD — Common Threads Quilt Guild hosts its monthly meeting 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 20 at Mount Comfort United Methodist Church, 3179 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield.
Cathy Burkett from In Stitches Quilt Shop, Rushville, will demonstrate a variety of different uses for quilt panels. Cathy’s shop boasts some 1,200 bolts of quilting fabric including Moda, Benartex, Quilting Treasures, Wilmington Prints and Timeless Treasures fabrics, along with notions, patterns and books.
In Stitches specializes in panels for table runners, place mats, wall hangings and quilts, as well as for applique to clothing.
Guests are welcome. Upcoming speakers include a members’ workshop on basic quilting skills and the Iron Quilters Challenge on Oct. 1.
