GREENFIELD
Deborah “Debbie” S. Roberts, 64, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on August 21, 1952 in Greenfield as the daughter of Clifford E. and Betty M. (Trees) Roberts.
She graduated from Greenfield High School in May of 1970. She started her career at Hancock County REMC on June 1, 1970 and finished at NineStar Connect 47 years later. Debbie was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She loved playing cards with friends, going to the movies, and watching basketball and football, especially to root for the Colts.
She is survived by furry kids, Lucy and Lilly; special cousin, Jerry McPherson; many cousins; and special friends, Donna and Mark Sturges. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Betty Roberts; brother, Steve Castle; and grandparents, Faye and Annie Trees, and Pearl and Milo Sears.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana.
