Dragons earn spot in tennis state rankings

The New Palestine boys tennis team moved into 26th in the latest Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association’s weekly rankings.

New Pal recognized in IHSVCA state rankings

The New Palestine volleyball team earned a spot in the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association’s state rankings. Records are as of Aug. 28.

County native, Scecina junior picks up victory

James Hentz, a junior at Scecina Memorial High School, earned an impressive three-set win at No. 2 singles against Greenfield-Central earlier this month.

Hentz, who attended St. Michael School in Greenfield, won his match 6-4, 4-6, 7-10 (in a super tiebreaker).

At Scecina, Hentz also competes in boys volleyball. He was awarded the Scholar-Athlete Award his sophomore year and is a student ambassador. He is a member of the Academic Superbowl team, National Honor Society and Crusaders for Christ.
