Footlite’s Jr. production features musical comedy

INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals presents “The Drowsy Chaperone” as its summer youth production. Performed by actors age 13 to 18, “The Drowsy Chaperone” is a love letter to Broadway as a musical theater fanatic shares a recording of his favorite musical, 1928’s “The Drowsy Chaperone.” The characters in the story burst into life and perform the entire show in his apartment. “The Drowsy Chaperone” opens Friday and runs through Aug. 27 at Footlite Musicals, 1847 N. Alabama St. Visit footlite.org for show times and ticket prices.
