NEW CASTLE — Racers from NineStar Connect won top honors during a recent annual go-kart racing fundraiser benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County. The event, at Mark Dismore’s New Castle Motorsports Park, raised more than $13,000 for the club’s operating needs.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County is a youth development organization overseen by a volunteer board of directors and directed by a paid professional staff of two and a part-time staff of 12. Locations are the Jim Andrews Unit in Greenfield, the Knightstown Extension at Knightstown Elementary School and the Eastern Hancock Extension at the elementary school.
