Betty L. Raab, 92, a long time Rush County resident, passed away July 26, 2017 in Morristown. She was born April 2, 1925 in Ft. Wayne to Alex & Jessie (Mock) Collier. Betty was a 1944 graduate of Warren Central High School.

She married Bervin H. Raab on March 11, 1945 and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1989. She and Bervin spent many years in Indianapolis and moved to Rush County in 1964.

Betty was a member of the First Church of God in Rushville where she was a Sunday School teacher for several years. She enjoyed crafts and sewing.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Mike) Hastings of Manilla, her sons, Daryl (Lynda) Raab of Manilla and Duane (Sheri) Raab of Rushville, grandchildren, Jonathan Hastings, Julie (Shane) Lovins, Joseph Hastings, Cherie (Rob) Serber, Dawn (Kirt) Boxell, Robert (Kim) Raab, Leeann (Martin) Jacobs, LaDonna Raab, Leesa Raab, Andrew Raab, Kevin Couch and Kyle (Whitney) Couch, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren with another one due next month.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, a son, David B. Raab(2017), a grandson, Douglas A. Raab(2011), a brother, Robert Collier and great-grandchildren, Andrew & Samantha Lovins.

Services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the First Church of God in Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service. Pastor Garry Jordan will preside and burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God in Rushville.
