New tourism committee member appointed
GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Board of Commissioners recently appointed Shirley Matlock to the Hancock County Tourism Commission.
The tourism commission, a seven-member board tasked with distributing county funds to support tourism, receives five appointees from the commissioners and as two from Greenfield Mayor Chuck Fewell.
Matlock replaces former commission member Andy Gilliland. The commission is still one member short.
