GREENFIELD
Shirley A. Fippen, 73, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017, at her home. She was born March 7, 1944 in Shelbyville, IN to Samuel and Juanita J. (Maynard) Slack.
Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed making crafts and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Gary (Dana) Fippen of Fortville and Greg Fippen of Fishers; granddaughters: Ashley and Amanda Fippen and companion Max Johnson; brothers: Clarence (Ramona) Ward of Indianapolis, William Slack of Indianapolis, Ronnie White of New Castle, David Shakelford of Fortville, James Slack; sisters: Sharon Sonnenburg of Lebanon, TN, Loretta Trabue of Indianapolis, Shelia Bridgeman of New Castle and Betty Reeder of Morristown.
She was preceded in death by her husband George “Dave” Fippen, her parents and sister Linda Stephenson and Ruth Miller.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
