FORTVILLE — A fundraiser motorcycle ride for the Mt. Vernon High School band is scheduled for Saturday starting at Harley Davidson of Indianapolis and finishing at the high school.
Harley Davidson is located at 4146 E. 96th St., where there will doughnuts and coffee served between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
A ride 2 ½ hour ride through the country starts at 11 a.m., finishing at the high school, where there will be a cookout and live entertainment by the band.
Silent auction items will be available at the motorcycle dealership.

Day-of-event costs increase to $30 for single riders and $40 per couple. People can make donations online, as well.
Proceeds will be deposited into the music boosters’ general fund.
