To the editor:
Thanks to Donna Steele for taking the lead in attempting to bring the League of Women Voters to Hancock County (“League of Women Voters: Today’s superhero,” June 29, A4).
This worthy organization has for years championed efforts to make voting a free and fair enterprise in one of the largest and oldest democracies in the world.
I look forward to hearing how this effort works out.
