Karen Lynn Kennedy
Karen Lynn Kennedy, 63, of New Palestine, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Born on June 9, 1954, in Memphis, Tenn., as the daughter of John Donald and Joan (Smith) Kennedy.
Survived by her parents; siblings, Shirley (Tony) Thacker of Greenfield, Diane Sanford of Indianapolis, David (Julie) Kennedy of Indianapolis, Daniel (Angi) Kennedy of Wilkinson and Matthew (Lisa) Kennedy of Shirley; 14 nieces and nephews; and 28 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Brian Sanford.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, at the mortuary. Tom Harrigan will be officiating.
