Donald B. Craig
Donald B. Craig, 82 of Franklin, Ind., formerly of Shirley passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. Born February 9, 1935, in Shirley, the son of the late Winburn and Sarah (Storie) Craig.
Don retired from General Motors after 44 years of service. He was the former Shirley town Marshall and a reserve deputy of the Hancock Co. Sheriff Dept., Shirley Masonic Lodge #531, former Shirley Lions Club, Shirley Volunteer Fire Department and Ag. Association of Hancock Co.
Survived by his wife, Nyla Sue Craig of Franklin; son, Andy (Bonnie) Craig of Shirley; daughter, Sonnie (Randy) Smith of Wilkinson; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Herman Craig of Greenfield; sister, Ina Akers of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Therman Craig; and three sisters, Thelma Broadwater, Clarice Armstrong, Ruby Fouse.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. A Masonic service will be held 1 p.m. with funeral service immediately following officiated by Gary Sickle. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, IN.
