‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ opens tonight at the Ricks Centre

GREENFIELD — CrazyLake’s “The Drowsy Chaperone,” opens tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. Tagged on Broadway as “a musical within a comedy,” the lonely “Man in Chair” shares with the audience a recording of his favorite Broadway show: the 1920s musical “The Drowsy Chaperone.” While the record plays, the action come to life in his apartment as he describes each scene of the musical. Performances on July 14, 15 and 21 start at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances on July 16 and 22 start at 2:30 p.m. Advance sale $10 tickets can be purchased at Hometown Comics, 1506 N.
