Edwin ‘Ed’ J. Cook
Edwin “Ed” J. Cook 90, of McCordsville, passed away on July 4, 2017. Born on April 19, 1927, in Greencastle, Ind., to the late Homer and Martha Lucille Cook.
Ed was a graduate of Reelsville High School. He served in the Army from 1945 to 1946, and received the rank of Corporal. Ed was a member of the Little Zion United Baptist Church.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Alma Cook; children, Paul (Sonnie) Cook, Greg (Sandra) Cook, Jill Cook, and Donna Cook; stepchildren, Connie Daniels, Michael Daniels, and Darryl (Jennifer) Daniels; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his: wife, Patricia Colene Cook; son, Robert Cook; along with parents.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, IN.
