Rollie E. Walker, 76, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at his residence. Born November 12, 1940, in Hancock County, the son of Wilbert M. and Katherine H. (Chadwick) Walker.

Rollie graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1961. He was a farmer and had formerly worked at CGS for over 10 years. For the past five years, he had worked part time at Shares, Inc.

Rollie was formerly a member of Hoosier Hampshire Association, and had formerly served on the board of directors for Fountaintown Volunteer Fire Department.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon.

Survived by his brothers, Larry Walker and Tom Walker, both of Morristown, and Dale Walker and wife, Sandy, of Fountaintown; sisters, Nancy Evans of Greenfield, and Linda Walker of Rochester; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Walker of Greenfield; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Rollie also leaves behind his dog, Yodi.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lowell Walker; and brother-in-law, Doyle Evans.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown Graveside services will be at 2:15 p.m., Thursday, at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, with Robby Walker officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 Apple St., Greenfield, 46140 –  for the new fairgrounds.
