Ralph E. Milligan
Ralph E. Milligan, 77, of Greenfield, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Hancock Regional Hospital. Born on April 4, 1940, in Herod, Ill., as the son of James Pearl and Bessie (Brown) Milligan.
Survived by his daughter, Debra Caudill; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Brown, Lela Hester, and Nina Carter; brother, Jim; as well as many nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law. Lastly, he is survived by his companion, Linda Greenwell of Greenfield, and her little dog, Sugar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bessie; wife, Phyllis; brothers, Carol, Willard and Bert; and sister, Louise Webb.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Pastor Carl Coffey will be officiating. Military rites will be presented at the graveside.
