Nancy Caroline Bozulich

Nancy Caroline Bozulich passed away on April 12, 2017, at her home in Greenfield. She was born on November 30, 1932, in Seminole, Ok., the only child of F.F. “Pete” and Edna (Norman) Thomason.

In 1951, she married USAF Lt. Bill Tucker of Enid, Ok. During his military service and employment at Alcoa, they lived in Wichita Falls and Lubbock, Tx.; Oklahoma City, Ok.; Cleveland Heights, Ohio; and Sierra Madre and Yorba Linda, Calif. They divorced in 1984.

Nancy was a 1948 graduate of Pampa, Texas High School and 1952 graduate of Oklahoma State University. At OSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Varsity Cheerleader, and Homecoming Queen Attendant.

She was a Certified Professional Secretary. In 1972, she was employed by Fluor Corporation, a Fortune 500 international engineering and construction company headquartered in Irvine, Calif. She served 7 years as Project Secretary for their Alyeska Pipeline Project and subsequently Executive Secretary to Fluor’s Chairman and CEO. In 1988, she left Fluor to marry retired American Airlines employee Edward Bozulich of Long Beach, Calif. They moved to Green Valley, Ariz., and in 2000 to Greenfield.

Nancy served on several boards including Kappa Delta OSU Alumnae Advisory Board; Desk and Derrick of Los Angeles; Desk and Derrick of Orange County, Calif. (founder); Executive Women International of Orange County; and American Association of University Women of Green Valley. She was listed in the Orange County Register among the “Outstanding Women of Orange County.” She traveled to all 50 states and over 45 foreign countries.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and half-sister, Clara Dalton.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by her children, Maryjane Bonnell of La Mesa, Calif., Bill Tucker Jr. of Greenfield and Elizabeth Austin of Lakeside, Calif.; stepson, Dave Bozulich of Grapevine, Tx; grandchildren, Teresa Hyatt of San Diego, Calif., Rachel Dolen of La Mesa, Calif., Bobbijane Apostolos of Denver, Colo., Amber Porter of El Cajon, Calif., William Tucker III of Northglen, Colo., and Michael Tucker of Indianapolis; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Collin and Lilah Porter and Leo Dolen; and nephews, Eldridge Dalton of Oakland, Calif., and Robert Dalton of Sumner, Wash.
