Local funeral home hosts campaign

GREENFIELD — Stillinger Family Funeral Home hosts the inaugural #celebratelife campaign, which encourages individuals and organizations to create stories, photos or videos about who or what makes a difference in their lives and how they thanked them.

“The purpose of our #celebratelife campaign is to encourage everyone in our community to make meaningful connections with others and celebrate the moments that matter most,” according to the campaign website.

The funeral home offers $3,000 total in prizes: $1,000 to a student age 17 and younger, $1,000 to people age 18 and older, and a $1,000 grant to a local organization. Those voting on the entries also may win $500 just for voting.

Submit through the online form at celebratelife.stillingerfamily.com through Aug. 1.

The top five finalists from the three categories will be announced on the funeral home’s social media sites. Voting will be from Aug. 7 through 19 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield. Winners will be announced 2 p.m. Aug. 26.
