Discovery Camp planned at equine therapy center

GREENFIELD — The Arc of Hancock County is partnering with Edelweiss Equine Assisted Therapy Center to present a summer day camp.

Campers will help groom and feed horses, observe them as they interact with each other and ride one.

Horse-related crafts and outdoor games will also be a part of the day.

Campers of any school age (5 by Aug. 1 of this year and older) and all abilities may attend on June 22, June 23, June 29 or June 30.

Camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Edelweiss Equine Assisted Therapy Center is located at 531 W. County Road 100S.

The cost per child is $25.
