Carol Elaine DeNease
Carol Elaine DeNease, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away May 30, 2017. Born in Indianapolis, on August 28, 1944, to the late, Richard C. and Juanita A. (Piel) Barthel.
Carol retired from Lucent Technologies. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, history and traveling. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and C.W.A. Local #4795.
She is survived by her children, Bruce R. George (Margie), Jill M. Browning (Mark) and Julie A. Dwenger (Randy); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Barb Foster.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Juanita; brother, Michael Barthel; and two husbands, William H. Pritchett and William DeNease.
Friends may gather from Noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 2, at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or American Cancer Society.
