Derek A. Roland, 39, died Sunday, May 28, 2017. Born February 18, 1978, in Indianapolis, a son of Mark Alan Roland and Vera Elizabeth (Davisson) Woods.
Survivors include his father, Mark (Mary) Roland of Greenfield; children, Kendal Elizabeth and Will Hudson; brothers, Joshua A. Roland (fiancé, Taylor Hof) of Carmel and Travis A. Roland of Greenfield; grandparents, Manda Roland of Knightstown and Daisy Robinson of Greenfield; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandfather, Wilford Roland; and cousins, Shane Loveall and Rob Mills.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 2, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Ron Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday.
