STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA– Greenfield resident Jennifer Apple was honored by Oklahoma State University with a $1,000 Advance Food Company Endowed Scholarship and a $500 Joseph Fleming Memorial Continuing Scholarship presented at the recent College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarships and Awards Banquet.
Apple, a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School, is a junior majoring in food science. The scholarship recipients were recognized during the banquet, where CASNR presented more than $300,000 in scholarships and awards to nearly 200 students. These scholarships are part of the $1.4 million in total scholarships CASNR students will receive during the 2017-18 academic year from both the college and its academic departments. Apple is a member of Alpha Zeta and Collegiate FFA. She also serves as an officer in the Food Industry Club and Meat Science Club.
